St. Mary of the Woods School – Senior High School Department maintained its 100% passing rate in the National Certification Assessment of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority or TESDA.
Last April 9, 2018, the Grade 11 and 12 students passed the NC II Assessment for Bread and Pastry Production at the Powerlink Center for Advanced Technical Skills Development, Malate.
Seven students of Grade 11- San Lorenzo Ruiz who were taking the Bread and Pastry elective are now NC II holders. They are Patricia Beatrice Cheng, Louise Francesca Abellera, Angela Gabrielle Coronel, Justine Christian Gutierrez, John Fredrick Santos, Reudier Josef Antonio, and Lev Henrique Eseller.
The three students of Grade 12 – San Pedro Calungsod under TVL Home Economics who passed the NC II Assessment are Jherha Canlas, Armand Martin Dizon, and Jose Luis Canillas.
The NC II passers were trained in skills relating to bread and pastry products by their adviser, Ms. Maria Theresa D. Sy.
It will be recalled that last year, SMWS Senior High School students also recorded 100% rate for NC II for Food and Beverage Services.
